Financial stress

Money pressure from outside the account, which degrades exactly the judgement trading requires and raises risk-taking at the worst time.

Financial strain consumes attention and working memory, shortens time horizons, and increases the appeal of large improbable payoffs. It also disrupts sleep, which compounds each of those.

For traders this creates a specific trap: the period when you most need the account to perform is the period when you are least able to execute. Attempts to solve an income problem with leverage are how small financial difficulties become large ones.

Separate the two problems. Cover living costs from outside the account, size to a level that survives a bad month, and treat serious debt or hardship as a matter for a regulated debt adviser or counsellor rather than for a trading solution.
